Random question 32.

Have you ever wished you were the opposite sex?  Explain
I have DEFINITELY wanted to be the opposite sex sometimes; theres tons of reasons which why I'm pretty sure girls would rather be boys. Lets point out the obvious! Guys are LUCKY that they don't have to give birth to a 7 Pound human, which may i say - Looks very painful. Also, before giving birth we have to hold a human in our stomach for 9 months, with stomach pains, throwing up, gaining weight, stretch marks and other stuff. ALSO, guys don't get their period like girls which is totally unfair. We have to go through HORRIBLE stomach pains each month starting at a pretty young age. So if we not pregnant with having stomach pains, we get monthly stomach pains. Another thing is, I personally thing, girls get more self conscious about their weight and body than boys, so they work hard or try hard to impress other boys by having a nice body or whatever. I'm not saying all the time, but usually when parents divorce, its usually the mom who keeps the child but thats not all the time- Just the majority of the time. Females get kidnapped just like males, but usually girls also get raped , and have that horrible memory stuck with them for life. Where as for guys, they don't really get raped . The only reason i would not want to be a guy usually is, because if you from the hood- they usually get into a lot of trouble and stuff. Also, another thing i wouldn't want to be a male is cause if he has a family, he mostly would have to be the defender or protector of the family so if anyone bothers them or whatever they'd have to step up. I think guys have pressure just like girls about appearance but its mostly on just how masculine they are where when it comes to girls, its comes to how feminine girls are. ALSOOOOOOOOOO, its better to be a girl because theres a lot of cute boys, so I'd probably be gay if I were a guy. And usually girls have a lot of mood swings than boys, so the guys have to deal with that.

A very balanced argument. One thought: you talk a lot about the painful and traumatic side of childbirth, but not the joyful and amazing part. From what I heard, holding a baby in your arms knowing full well that it comes from YOU is pretty powerful...

But girls go through all the pain and then hole the baby, but the guys don't even give birth and he gets the baby also ! So its not fair.

Yes, but holding the baby you just gave birth to is like eating a meal you just slaved over. The other people eating it enjoy it, but don't necessarily get the full satisfaction of having created it.
