1. Describe a time when a policeman/woman has helped/protected you or someone you know?
A: uh :x i cant really think of a time that i can really share.

A: I dont really have too much experience with cops and stuff because i dont really get into too much in trouble that we need the cops to get involved. But all the cases that i had to go through with the cops i think they handled it pretty good. But there was this one time when this idiot cop stopped my dad for driving over the limit when he wasn't -_______________________- . He got me mad man , then on top of that he had a little attitude like if you going to be a cop you have to learn how to deal with people without having a huge attitude for NOO apparent reason like -.-
3. Should citizen be able to take photos and videos of the police? Why or why not?
A: No i dont think citizen should be able to unless there working in the news or something. I don't think citizen should be able to take pictures of cops unless its under certain circumstances like if the cop is doing anything wrong like abusing their rights as a cop i think its right to take a video or something ( if you know the whole story) and bring i to the police station to prove something but other than that then no i don't think we should have the rights to take a picture of a cop....

4. Is there anything a citizen should not be allowed to take a photo or video of ( for example, inside the train station, couples making out, outside the white house)
A: I think inside the train station if you are taking a picture of yourself or a friend or something weird in the train station. I don't think you should be able to take pictures of RANDOM couples making out because thats perverted ! and uhhh i think its okay to take a picture of the white house under CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCE like if you was invited inside of something and youre taking a picture of something interesting or of yourself inside.

SO yeah , my name is Amy ___ Jimenez. I don't like to say my middle name , i absolutely hate it . Very few people know it, my mom gave me my middle name. I don't even like my first name, i think its too plain, known and short but i don't really care. I want to be an actress when i grow up, yeah i know you may be surprised but yeah i do. My role model is probably Selena Gomez, the reason Selena is my role model is because she became very famous at a very young age and is making a lot of money already. What advice would you give your best friend if she gets pregnant at a young age & what would you do?

A : I would tell her to be strong and to ignore others because i know others are going to judge her even though they don't know her story about how she got pregnant and also to not get depressed because she still have the rest of life ahead of her to make up the stuff she missed out by having a baby. Plus she has people behind her to help her and not many people who get pregnant have that. If shes my best friend i will always be there for her, you may think I'm just saying this but I'm not. I know my parents wouldn't let me be friends with her because they may think she is going to influence her. But i would probably be the last person to abandon my best friend. I would support her anyway i can whether its to babysit while she has to go somewhere important, or help her take of the baby ( because i have experience with babies because my sister and cousin B) psssssshhh ), or even buy certain stuff for the baby I'd treat it likes its mine anytime i can. Its just i think the main problem would be to hide for my parents and try to spend my spare time with my best friend and the baby. A: Well, I think some girls try to grow up WAY to fast when they're still really young having their whole life ahead of them. For example , lose their virginity, say certain stuff and do other stuff that isn't even appropriate for our age -_- and it isn't cute. Also another thing is how teenagers act up in school and go the wrong direction , as in being disrespectful to people and making that a habit and not making an effort to learn. Now, in our society people are doing drugs at such a young age and not focusing on education and people go out with friends not making their family their number one priority, instead its their friends and going out and stuff. I think kids nowadays have to stop with the nonsense and make their education and family their top priority because going out, smoking, and etc shouldn't come before -_________- :)

A: I would take back everything I did and said and treat my mom when i was like 11 or 12. I REGRET IT SOOOOO MUCH if i can tell my younger self to not do that I would immediately do that! Also , picking out my friends i would totally pick my friends MUCH MORE WISELY !! Because i wouldn't be going through the stuff i'm going through now, BUT if i didn't meet them i wouldn't be the person i am now. A : I think we disagree on many things but the main thing i disagree on is me having boyfriends. A: Honestly if i had to choose between going back in the past or the future i would love to the both. I have different reasons for each the future and past.

The reason I would want to go back in the past is because theres stuff i would want to redo that i kinda regret but then i don't because thats what made me the person i am now. But then i know if i had the chance to redo it , i would probably be happier in the present but overall there isn't anything TOO major that i desperately wanna go back in time for.

How is cyberbullying different from in-person bullying? Cyber bullying is soo much different but the same as in person bullying. Because over the internet you are hiding your identity instead of facing your victim and bullying them. But its the same because its hurting the person wether its physical or emotional bullying.

I think the boy who actually have been stalking her over the phone should've had more parts in the movie instead of just appearing in the movie a few times.

No, I dont think it did because when i was talking to it when id say something they would talk about the total opposite of what i was saying and it was annoying. It didn't understand what i was saying. So obviously it would not be human its responding with different stuff.

1. 5 Human rightss , & explanation of what they mean ...

A. Torture : I think what the video is trying to point out is that people should not be getting tortured for unreasonable reasons. Before and now kids get bullied for things they should not get hit for. For example , one of the kids that got beat got beat because he wouldn't give up his money.

B. Slavery: In the video they was trying to point out that people should not be treated like slaves because of where they're from, what gender they are, how old they are or whatever. No one should be a slave under any type of circumstance.

C. Unfair Detainment: In the pamphlet from the few sentences that are there and also the picture. It shows that many people have been going to jails just for leaving there country to come to America and have a better life. Everyone wants and DESERVES to have a chance at a better life no matter where they are from. I think it is very unreasonable to be sent to Jail just for coming to America to have a life.

D. The right to privacy: In the pamphlet it shows that everyone deserves their own privacy. No one should be able to look through someone else's stuff without the owners permission. No matter what race you are, or how old you are, or where you come from. Everyone should have their own privacy.

E. We're always innocent till proven guilty: In the pamphlet they are trying to send out a message that if no one has evidence someone did something they shouldn't be blamed for doing such a crime or whatever !! No matter what the case is you shouldnt just assume someone did something because of their looks , race or what someone else said. You must have evidencee!!

2. What human rights are violated in the game ICED ?
One of the human right that were violated were violated in the game was how they got put in jail just because they was from another country. You still would get thrown in a detention center even if you help out the community like donate blood and etc. I didn't think that was fair because half the people that are citizens in American don't donate blood or whatever to help out the community.

3. If you could re-design this game, what would you keep? What would you do differently?
In this game i would keep the cops to chase the non citizen to keep the game fun but i would change like if you help the community or whatever you get less chance of a risk. Not just get thrown in jail after how much you helped the community.

The game is about making careful teenage decisions when it comes to sex. To not feel pressured and to always try to do what makes you comfortable, not go by what the other person wants.

I did not let my character have sex with the boy because she still like the other boy and i thought it was way to fast. Even though she was attracted to him i think the farthest they should go is just kissing.

3. Why is a game like this important ?
It is important because it lets you choose the decisions you would normally choose in the real life but it lets you know the results, so once you seen the result you might think twice about making the decision in your life.

4. How could this game be improved ?

The "N" Word

1. Where does the "N"word come from ? Why does it offend some people so much ?
The "N" word comes from when African American were slaves to white people a long time ago. I think some people take offense to the "N" word because it is such a strong word referring to the past where black people were treated as slaves. Also the "N" word is giving a label , a name to a certain race which probably people do not like.

2. Should Non-Black people be able to use the "N" word ?
Personally I believe Caucasian people should not use it because they have such a past with African Americans. But i believe if you grew up knowing the "n" word and people surrounded around you use it and you are only saying the "N" word to people you know it isn't as bad or weird.

3. Should musicians stop using the "N" word ?
I think musicians should stop using it so often like they do but if it has a reason between the word then i think it is fine. But then i think it isnt bad because us telling them to not use the "N" word is us limiting their use of colorful language. Also people enjoy the music even if it has the word so i don't believe it isn't that bad as long as they're not using the word in an offensive sense.

4. Do other ethnic groups (for example, Chinese, Jews, and Dominicans) use ethnic slurs like the N-Word to describe themselves? If not, Why ?
I think they don't use it because the take it much or offensive than African Americans and people nowadays are used to saying the "N" word , not anything else because many people grew up hearing the n word a lot, not any other ethnic slurs..

5. What would happen if black people (and everyone else) started using “king” or “queen” instead of the N Word?
I think if people started using the word King and Queen people might like it more than the "N" word because it might bring people spirit up being called king or queen. BUT i think after a while no one would really care and be use to the word so no one would really care about the meaning of King or Queen so it'll be just like the "N" word no one would take offense to it or feel better so their is no use of making those words ( King and Queen) upon us because it wont really make the world a better place because it will become a slang word. You wouldn't obviously hear Obama saying wassup my King -_- , thats lame lml .

REASONS WHY I AM NOT AGAINST IT -

The reasons i would not be against it is because as the guys said in the video id rather be going through a scanner than being blown up in thee air . Also , a simple pat down wont be enough and just glancing through your bag wont be enough in my opinion. They can hidee aanything in their bag very easily , so it would probably be best just to go through a simple scanner. Its not like it saved or anything, and the airports are only doing this for your safety so nothing can happen in the airplane when we are above the clouds in the air !

REASONS WHY I AM AGAINST IT -

The reason i would be against it because it is kind of an invasion of privacy because they are pretty much looking at you private. at your private parts and EVERYTHING and people might feel uncomfortable about that . People can feel uncomfortable with theeir bodiees so they wouldn't want no one looking at their body. Maybe people in the airports or whoever created the airport scanners should find a way to make another invention to check for any weapons or anything, an invention where people will feel comfortable going through the procedure of being checked.

1. What are some of the things you learned about the materials ( example : glass concrete, steel )used for re-building ground zero.
A: I learned that it is harder than most people thought to get all these thing created for the buildings. Like the concrete, the construction workers had to get the right amount of water in it and different stuff. f the measurement was a little bit off they have to start over. Also with the glass they take lots of tie making it and sometimes it breaks because they did something wrong after creating the glass for a very long time.

2. What were some of the challenges that the builders faced when creating the new World Trade Center building and memorial fountains ?
A: The challenges were that until they got it right they had to go through many wrongs and mistakes. For example the glass kept breaking but it showed them what they had to do to make the building perfect with the correct materials.

3. What does the design of the World Trade Center symbolize ? What does the design of the memorial fountains symbolize ?
A: The world trade center buildings are to represent the twin towers obviously. And also to have people come together as one and recognize the beauty of the buildings.

4. How will this video affect your memorial design ?

My favorite design for the memorial is the first one wit the round building in the middle of the twin towers with the light coming in/out of it. The reason why i like that design is because it is creative and its really nice and if we had that in our city i know everyone would admire it like me. I definitely think the person who created this design was thinking outside the box because i know myself and lots of other people wouldn't come up with an amazing design like this one. That is the reason why i admire this design so much .

Dear fans of my blog,

First off, I want to tell you what a boring summer I had. Not only did I stay home a lot or when i went outside it was kinda boring , but I also i got into a lot of argument with people. One thing that I didn’t do (but wish I had) is go to upstate more . It feels so weird to be at school because i haven't seen so many people and there lots of tension i think that hasn't been solved out yet.

Anyhow, I just watched a Men in Black video clip and it was really funny. I couldn’t believe that Will Smith was imitating the candidate it made me laugh a lot. Looking at Mr. Lahana’s “MOST IMPORTANT THINGS” list it’s pretty clear this video was talking about #2. This is because the video showed the part where Will Smith made a stupid decision by mimicking the candidate and also being unprofessional and bring the table to him , to be professional you just try to work with what you got.

On #4 of Mr. Lahana’s “MOST IMPORTANT THINGS” list he talks about finding what you love. Besides texting, Facebooking, and drooling over my favorite star Taylor Lautner and Justin Bieber , I’m into some serious stuff. Stuff that not everyone’s into– like acting. It’s true! I could spend hours acting out stuff and time just vanishes. If you gave me access to a computer with a camera, Garageband, Scratch, Photoshop or 3D design software I would make a a little video MAYBE if i gain confidence that showed off my talent at acting but i would have to act it with someone else also. But you know, I’m not perfect at my talent yet. By the end of the year I hope I can overcome my shyness and become a great actress. Well, that’s all I have time to write for now– Amy!

My favorite gay story.

1. I think all the coming out videos were very powerful but the one that i was really into was the transgender one ( joel ). I felt bad knowing that Joel parents basically didn't even accept him because they wont call him his male name when she wished for that. And Joel may take it as a joke that her brother ask him often if he is a male or female but i think inside he is hurt having that memory that he wasn't born male that he was previously a girl. And i think he may go through more torture because he changed his sex . And sucks that it takes a while to change into a man so he had to go through the change during his graduation.

2. If i was with a group of homophobe and i had to speak to them about why is it bad being a homophobe i would just say it is not right just hating someone cause of what they like. Tattoos- reasons why should people get tattoos !

I believe some people have reasons to get tattoos. I understand people getting tattoos of something they like or love and it is a small tattoo. It shouldn't be a big tattoo of something that is not necessary because it just looks stupid. For example i think it is fine if you get a tattoo of someone who you cared about who passed away or something like that. OR you can get a tattoo of your son or daughter name or someone in you family that you care about that you would want to show you care about them through a tattoo. I also think that it is fine to get a tattoo if you are able to cover it with some clothing so if you go to a job interview or something, they wont see it and think of you in a different way.

I believe people should NOT get tattoos because it stays FOREVER and if you actually do take is out it is painful. I think it is fine to get a small tattoo but still when you grow older it is going to get all wrinkly and it wont look all nice as it did when you first got it, you won't look as cool when you firs got it either. Also if you get a big tattoo people won't look at you the same either because you are going to look like a freak. What you think, if a lady was to ask you to babysit their baby and you are covered in tattoos , or if there was a kind person with NO tattoos who do you think they would want to watch their baby ? Obviously they gonna choose the second person with NO tattoos. Also if you want to do something good like donate blood for someone who needs it or something you can't donate because you have a tattoo ( tattoo). It may not be that serious to you now but it may be serious to you when you grow old and have wrinkly tattoos or when you need it in a crisis like donating blood.

Assumed Guilty:

1. I was assumed guilty for making my little cousin cry. When it wasn't even me, it was someone else but they assumed it was me because i am known for always bothering my cousin a lot.

A: I am positive it is because of the past of what i have done to my cousin. But they always end up believing my cousin because she is younger but she is always the one who starts because she is annoying and she knows that certain things piss me off.

A: Yes, in my class people are always throwing stuff and one time they threw a pencil and it ended up hitting me so i assumed it was this boy but by the end of the period it ended up not being him it was someone else. That's my story.

Immigration Detention

Q1: Describe with as much detail possible what the detention center are like (i.e., the bathrooms, medical facilities, cells, solitary confinement, etc.)

A: The medical facilities was dirty and you can tell the nurse did not care about you because they told you to wait for longer than a month just to get checked. The bathrooms were disgusting because it was filthy and seems like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Also you don't get privacy at all and also it is disgusting because the bathroom is right next to the dining room where all the prisoners eat so they can just look at you and also when you eat the smell is going to disgust you.

Q2: How did playing this game make you feel ?

A: It made me upset because they have to go through so much and people who aren't in jail don't even think about what they go through. I never thought of how people in jail get treated like and i think that only some people deserve to be in jail but not the immigrants. I don't believe they should be treated like how they are.

Q3: What do you think the United states should do differently with their immigrants ?

A: I think people should help immigrants get a green card so they can stay in America or at least send them back to their own country without any problems instead of just sending them into jail. They don't belong in jail and putting them in jail is just hurting them and the people in this world because if they don't let the immigrants out, you're just using up space that can be used for real criminals that need to go to jail instead of roaming around on this earth !

1. If it were up to you to make the decision, would you let the sweatshop workers become legal U.S. Citizens? why or why not?
A: I wouldn't even hesitate to not let the sweatshop workers become u.s. citizens. The reason is because they are exactly like u.s. citizens. citizens do to get their jobs is work hard and that is what the sweatshop workers are doing as you can see. Also the only difference between us and the sweatshop workers are that some don't speak English and that they are not from America.

2. Describe a moment from 1,2, or 3 of this movie you found particularly memorable? Why?
A: Honestly the most memorable part of the Made in L.A was the 3rd one when i was listening to the lady who was saying that she came to L.A in a back of a truck and said that she was one of the lucky people. The reason is because others usually lose a body part or die or get killed, so even after all that complaining inside she is still grateful to be alive and be with her kids.

3. By the end of part 3, the protester seem to be giving up hope. If you were able to speak to the group, what would you say to inspire them to keep going?
A: I think if I was to able to speak to the group, i would say to of course not to give up hope because one day someone is going to help them speak to Forever 21 and one day Forever 21 IS going to listening and will think the reason they are protesting is reasonable reasons. So if they were to stop now they will not be heard anymore and forever 21 is going to just forget about how important the sweatshop workers are and if they were to all quit working at the sweatshop Forever 21 would be nothing ! ( not saying they should quit)

SWEATSHOPS in LA.

1. How is the life of sweatshop workers the same as those in Indonesia? How is it different?
Answer: it is the same because they are still getting paid less than others, and is still struggling through life. It is different because they get paid more which means they are able to get a house and no be living around their own poop like how people in Indonesia does. Also there are people who are helping the people in LA get paid more and get less hours.

2. Why is it that poor immigrants (newcomers) end up working at sweatshops? Why don't they work as lawyers, doctors, or at McDonalds ?
Answer: The reason is because they need green cards and citzens cards (or something like that) , but in sweatshops they don't need experience or any of that.

3. Predict what is going to happen in the end of the movie?
Answer: i think it is going to be the same, just them working as hard as they can just to get by, but my hopes are that they get paid more and work less hours so they can see their kids and stuff.

Dear Nike,
I don't like how the nike company has been treating us. Us people in Indonesia are working a 12 hour shift and only earning a dollar a day that can only get me a little bit of food for me and my family. When I see that famous people like Tiger Woods get millions of dollars just for wearing nikes, it upsets me. It upsets me because we are puting hard work into the shoes and other people don't give us credit for it at all. All the money that famous people earn just for wearing our sneakers is unbelievable, all that money could buy so much houses for half of the factory workers and have enough money for food. I hope you read this and feel compassionate and please do something that will help me and facotry workers in Indonesia.

1. How much does nike workers in Indonesia each day? How many hours day do they work ?
A: The nike workers get $1.25 a day. And when they work overtime just to get by the hours are about 15 hours a day for 6 to 7 days a week.

2. What is life like for Indonesia Nike workers at home ?
A: it is nasty i think. One of the reasons i think it is nasty is because of the fact is that there is feces all around the house. They are sleeping on the floor with rats and bugs. They are not even having enough time with the kids ( the people who have kids).

3. Why wont nike speak to Jim or Leslie or let them visit the shoe factory?

A: I think it is because they think that Leslie & Jim will convince them to protest to work less hours and get paid more like how the people in L.A did. Or they probably didn't wanna see how they treated the factory workers and if Jim & Leslie did see the nike company will probably get shut down.

A: They give pigs antibiotics so they wont get sick since they live in their own poop and spread it to people.

The most scariest is #1 because I am very very scared of ghost so if i was to see one espacially a little girl, that would freak me out!
